NeiGong loosely means “internal work.” It is an ancient Chinese set of breathing exercises that soothes and calms the spirit, body, and mind. Moreover, it is widely used as it has been shown to facilitate weight loss, tone the skin, and improve health. The improvement it provides your immune system enables your body to better cope with disease and illnesses.

NeiGong originated in the Chinese culture, and at some point in time, was taught by a master to a student in secret. The methods of Yoga, tai chi, and Qi Gong owe their origins to NeiGong’s healing exercises. It is an internal martial art that helps you learn to reinforce your actions without the need to exert effort and deals with primarily with internal strength.

A Neigong practitioner goes through a number of steps designed to incite his internal energy in order to restore it to its original state of being. NeiGong’s internal elements work in tune with QiGong’s external energetic elements, resulting in a creation of balance of energy or Chi. The fluid and constant movements are also concise and slow. One other another internal style of Niegong is Neijia, which entails the workings of internal martial art combining slow movements with rapid infrequent outburst of motions while promoting the body in a state of relaxation.

The art of NeiGong has several different forms.

There is NeiGong that is centered in harmonizing and coordinating breathing and the body. This practice involves the way the body moves (and not its physical motions), coordinating itself with breathing techniques to encourage inner peace and tranquility.

There is also NeiGong that’s focused on meditation helping make a person more conscious of regular body processes, such as balance, alignment, musculoskeletal movement, digestion, and the flow of blood. NeiGong not centered on the martial arts is deemed to be a key component of the effort to preserve or maintain optimal health. It also embodies the Three Treasures of Shen, Chi and Jing, also respectively known as spirit, vitality, and essence.

The Benefits:
