How To Select The Best Place To Practice Qi Gong

without comments

In a person’s everyday routine, Qi Gong can be an ideal inclusion due to the various benefits two minute of practice can give. You won’t need to spend a great deal of time, a special place to practice, or fancy equipment for this exercise.

The best place to perform qi gong is outdoors preferably in a place with beautiful natural scenery and lots of fresh air. But it can also be performed indoors or practically anywhere.

There are certain criteria that would make a place suitable or unsuitable for performing qi gong.

The place should be first not too cold or too hot. Wear the right clothing so that your body can adjust to the temperature of your practice area. If the place is cold, you probably need to wear thick clothing. If the place is warm, then wear less clothing. You should never expose your body to any draft, which implies that windy places are off limits for Qi Gong practice. It can also imply that when practicing in warm climates, you shouldn’t expose your body to the wind or exercise without a shirt.

Next, the place should be flowing with lots of fresh air. Practice in nature if your preference is outdoor practice. This means avoiding near traffic or places of industry. If you’re performing qi gong indoors, the windows in your room should be open so that air can circulate although be careful being exposed to a draft. While not preferred, you can still do qi gong in the city only when it’s done indoors or in parks.

Lastly, since Qi Gong requires concentration, it’s recommended that you practice in a place where you wouldn’t be disturbed. If you’re practicing indoors, you may want to inform people not to disturb you while you exercise, practice in a vacant room that has no people going in and out, and turn off the phone while you exercise. If you are performing qi gong outdoors, select a place where people won’t disturb you while you’re practicing.

Through these basic instructions, you’ll be able to find a lot of areas where practicing Qi Gong can be suitable.

The Benefits Of Triple Cosmic Breathing

without comments

A lot of religious dogmas (Buddhist, Taoist, and Hindu traditions), often have unique breathing techniques included in their teachings; they are designed to balance the essential nature of the practitioners. These breathing methods are also used by martial artists to help them perform extraordinary athletic feats. Fortunately, anyone can utilize them even if you’re not a martial artist or an athlete. Every aspect of your life can be uplifted when you concentrate on your breathing.

When performing breathing techniques, do them without halting between breaths. It will help your qi flow smoothly and not stagnate. Move your breath continuously. When you breathe in this manner, you can establish a connection with the universal qi or life energy. This is known as “connected breathing” and it not only provides you with benefits but also shows you how it is performed without breaks. It is essentially “yoga come” or “Union.”

Performing this form of breathing can unite your respiration (exhale and inhale) in one uninterrupted and smooth stream. This form does not rely on any special equipment and requires no specific time to perform it. Anyone can practice it anywhere. You can do it while reclining in your sofa chair while watching TV. All you need to do is breathe. Visualize as you feel the body then see yourself as pure energy. You can achieve this visualization when you shift your awareness. Your imagination is also composed of pure energy. You can proceed to the domain of energy when you mix your imagination with everything.

A more superior form of connected breathing known as microcosmic breathing can balance you, clear your mind, heal, and energize you. It fosters spiritual cultivation, strength, and longevity. It is powerful yet simple. Yet, it’s so simple that one can practice it while they’re reading this article.

Despite its simplicity, microcosmic breathing can provide outstanding benefits for those who practice it. To perform it, inhale deeply as you visualize inhaling beginning from the base of your vertebrae then upwards to your back “filling” yourself with air while you visualize your breath going to the uppermost part of the head. Then exhale, reversing this path; first, begin your exhale and sense it going downward from the uppermost part of the head, downward to the your body’s front, and going down towards the base of the vertebrae. As you inhale and exhale, steer the breath in a similar circuitous path: inhale from the base of your vertebrae to the uppermost part of the head. Then, exhale from the uppermost part of the head to the base of your vertebrae. You can also imagine a rotating sphere of energy, if you like.

Repeatedly perform several microcosmic breaths as you can. You can either keep on performing these breathes for about ten minutes or count to a hundred breaths and see if you feel much better you after you’ve reached a hundred. Again, breathe in and transport your energy towards your back, and when you breathe out, you bring the breathing down the front. While breathing out you could sense the energy rolling in your lower stomach, which is an important nexus of energy in your body.

Another type of breathing technique is macrocosmic breathing, which a more advanced form of breathing than microcosmic breathing. In macrocosmic breathing, you can fully exploit the life-affirming power, magnetic, and transformative power of the earth.

When performing this technique, inhale deeply and feel it emanating from the core of the earth. Haul the energy towards soles of your feet, and up the front of your legs, the base of your vertebrae, your back, then up to the uppermost part of the head. Then from the uppermost part of the head, exhale, downward to the front of your body, towards the base of your vertebrae. Then feel the breathe going down the back of the legs and all the way down the soles of your feet. Then, thrust your breathe into the core of the earth and feel it traveling back there. When you breathe out, release any bad feelings that might be disturbing you and allow them to be swallowed by the earth, which has the power to renew, re-empower, and regenerate. The earth can easily to take in any type of negative energy in your whole body, transforming it and then sending it back to you as positive energy. The only thing you need to do to confirm this is to observe in nature how the flowers grow in springtime.

For added visualization, when your breath reaches the uppermost part of the head, imagine that sunlight is shining down on you. As you exhale, sense the sun’s warmth filling your entire body. If a part of your body has any kind of health issue, send that problem down to the earth using the soles of your feet while at the same time imagine the problem area being filled with the sun’s healing warmth.

Macrocosmic breathing combined with visualization can be a powerful way to heal your body. Imagine filling your body with energy as you inhale and exhale. Imagine doing the things you like to do and the person you wish to become. Be joyful about a goal that you want to achieve in life, and visualize yourself having accomplished it. Feel the release of endorphins in your bloodstream and the elation of experiencing this realization. Make it a habit of bringing yourself to this kind of rapture and observe the changes that are happening to you.

There is one more form of breath that you’re now ready to perform along with the aforementioned macrocosmic and microcosmic breath. Begin by performing the macrocosmic breath. As you inhale, feel yourself transforming into a giant getting bigger and expanding and developing wings that spread out as you keep on growing. You expand to such a size that you are even bigger than the universe itself. As you exhale, your wings close and you gather all the energy of the universe now churning within your stomach, two inches beneath your umbilicus, at the center point. Sense this lively energy building up as you exhale. As you further breathe out, push your stomach out with energy, instead of allowing your stomach to contract. This technique is known as “reverse breathing,” and it endows you with even more supercharged power.

These different breathing methods lead up to a thing known as triple cosmic breathing. This will open your higher brain centers, balance all energy meridians, and stimulate your chakras and DNA. In triple cosmic breathing microcosmic breath is first performed then followed by macrocosmic breath.

Acidosis which is the buildup of acid in the body leads to aging and eventually death. When waste accumulates in your body, it can also lead to acidosis. Triple cosmic breathing can help eliminate alkaline bodily fluids and waste material in your body thus improving your health. In fact, Dr. Alexis Carrell, a Nobel Prize winner said, “The fluid in which the cell floats degenerates, the cell itself, however, is immortal.” He validated this point by keeping a chicken’s heart alive for 28 years just by replacing the fluid it was immersed in regularly. Only when the doctor suppermost partped replacing the fluid did the heart suppermost part beating and die.

We all must have heard of people dying from heart attacks during or after exercising. Therefore, it is a good idea to do deep breathing instead of exercising. It actually gets your body into shape better than exercising. This point is affirmed by Martin ‘Farmer’ Burns, World Wrestling champion for three years. According to him, just by deep breathing, many sick people got well and many weak people got strong. So, if you don’t want acidosis wearing out your body, try deep breathing instead. Let the other athletes exercise and deal with acidosis. Also, if you perform triple cosmic breathing, you can look and feel young again.

You can you can draw out energy force from your body in the microcosmic breath, draw out energy from the sun and the earth in the macrocosmic breath, and stretch your energy all the way and even beyond the universe and the original cosmic breath this way.

By regularly practicing this, you’ll become so filled with energy that you won’t worry about sleep since you won’t need it like you used to. Set aside a few moments each day for yourself in order to achieve what you truly desire in your life. If you want, you can perform the triple cosmic breathing in the morning, sometime during the day, and then perform once more at night. Your whole being will benefit from it. It will make you feel fully energized and make you live an energized and peaceful life. It will fill your life with ecstasy, refresh and renew you, and keep you revitalized and full of life.

Acupressure Relieves Headaches And Migraines And Eliminate Stress

without comments

Have you ever experienced a headache or migraine that has dramatically dissipated minutes after someone applied pressure on different parts of your hand? This kind of therapy actually has been practiced in Asia for thousands of years and it is called acupressure.

Very much the same as acupuncture, acupressure is only different to its counterpart in how it is done. Acupuncture uses needles stuck into specific pressure points on the body to activate the pressure point system of the body to boost the circulation of blood and energy throughout the body in order to treat illnesses and relieve pain. Acupressure, on the other hand, uses pressure of the hands. This manual pressure is applied into specific pressure points on the body to alleviate body and head pain like headaches and migraines and eliminate stress.

One practical form of acupressure you can perform on yourself and others is done using a mat called Nayoya Acupuncture mat. Historically, this mat has a tradition similar to deep tissue massage, reflexology, acupressure, and traditional acupuncture in Jacksonville, all techniques designed to eliminate stress in the body.

These healing procedures are based on the concept of chi which is the vital energy flowing throughout the body. In Chinese medicine, when the flow of chi is blocked by stress and other negative factors, physical and emotional illness develops. When important acupressure points on the feet, back, hands, and other parts of the body are rubbed or massaged, chi flow is rechanneled and restored which triggers the natural healing processes of the body.

Chinese Acupressure Exercise Techniques To Relieve Eye Strain And Improve The Health Of Your Eyes

without comments

The use of digital devices and personal computers are at an all-time high, hence, it is vital that we should do things that can help alleviate eye strain caused by excessive close up work. One specific component of eye exercises are Chinese acupressure exercises in Bellingham which aim to resolve the issue of eye strain.

What are Chinese Acupressure exercises?

Chinese Acupressure exercises are ancient healing practices that began 5,000 years ago. It is a technique that follows the theory of the existence of energy channels called meridians in the body that are tied in certain ways to organs in the body. The massage techniques in acupressure stimulate the pressure points on the skin and the meridians increasing blood and energy flow to the respective organs thereby enhancing health. Some of these pressure points are found on the face, feet, and hands. Aside from the massage techniques, a set of eye exercises are also performed that can be very helpful to alleviate tension and stress in the eyes and to boost the health of the eyes.

Several researches have shown the efficacy of acupressure. One study conducted in 2003, revealed that acupressure methods performed on the ears helped reduce anxiety in adult patients while they were being transported to the hospital by an ambulance. Other studies have proven the effectiveness of acupressure in other types of health issues.

Below is a sample of how one can administer Chinese acupressure eye exercise techniques properly:

To administer massage therapy around the bony sockets of the eyes, start by using the middle fingers of both your hands massaging the sockets in an outward motion. Next, using both middle fingers, move upwards and then move downwards to the bridge of your nose. Repeat this procedure ten times.

With the use of both middle fingers, perform an up and down massage with your fingers to the hollow area of both your temples. Repeat the procedure ten times.

The last exercise entails massaging in an up and down motion the bones behind your earlobes. Perform this procedure ten times.

There are several benefits you can derive from getting these acupressure techniques: a few of these benefits include energizing your visual system and the increase of flow of blood to the vessels of the eyes both of which improve the health of your eyes.

If you are in urgent need of relieving strain and tension in your eyes, this Chinese acupressure eye exercise technique can be very helpful for you. They enhance the flow of blood to the blood vessels of the eyes and transport oxygen and energy to the visual system. This eventually results in the treatment of eye strain, vastly improved eyesight, and a substantial decrease of stress in the visual system.

Acupressure Therapy Can Work For The Treatment Of Sinusitis

without comments

These days, we usually rely on modern knowledge and modern technologies to guide us for the way we live our lives. Hence, it is only natural to assume that modern society can guide us on the path to good health and well being. After all look, at the tremendous achievements modern medicine has achieved so far in the battle against diseases like heart attacks and cancer.

Because of this, we now tend to look up to modern medicine to provide us with the things we need to overcome whatever it is that ails us. Unfortunately, modern medicine does not have the answers to all of life’s myriad maladies. One of these unresolved maladies is sinus infection. However, there are people who will swear on their mother’s grave that acupressure, an ancient Chinese healing discipline, definitely works for the treatment or cure of sinusitis.

Acupressure is based on the existence of vital energy or chi. It is used to help increase the flow of energy and blood in the body

For sinusitis, acupressure has a special regimen to treat the condition. You or your therapist will know what precise areas to massage and stimulate in order to effect a treatment. You may need to give a thorough description of your symptoms and all vital information to your therapist in order to correctly diagnose your problem and therefore provide you with the right kind of treatment.

You can also perform the therapy yourself provided you know what correct pressure points to use and how to perform the therapy the correctly. Acupressure works the same way as acupuncture but instead of stimulating the pressure points with needles, you only need your fingers to apply the right pressure on the body.

Your eye is one of the most useful locations in your body to begin performing acupressure for the treatment of sinusitis. To begin, place your thumbs about halfway up on one side of your nose. Then firmly press the cartilage of your nose with the thumbs. Keep on pressing for half a minute. Repeat this process as much as you can. One of the greatest things about acupressure is that it has no side effects.

The following is another form acupressure therapy you can try.

Press the areas next to your inner eyes on the two sides of the bridge of your nose with your index finger and left thumb. Hold this for a few seconds. Applying pressure on the areas near the eyes is what people instinctively do if they’re having sinus problems.

We tend to often rely on modern knowledge and medical techniques to address our health problems. We also tend to forget that there are a variety of healing techniques have been used for thousands of years that are just as good as or even better than today’s modern treatments. Acupressure offers certain exciting possibilities when it comes to treating or curing sinusitis.

Feng Shui, Dietary Modifications, And Medical Intervention For The Cure Of Cancer

without comments

In helping people, one of the strongest points of classical feng shui is its ability to substantiate how the house may be affecting a person’s health in certain ways. This can be achieved in various layers. One layer is based on the birth data of an occupant. Based on their specific gua or trigram, each individual has specific health weaknesses. For instance, a man is likely to have problems with his lungs or head if he was born in 1958 in the Qian trigram. This will always apply regardless of where he lives, although the home’s energy could amplify or reduce his vulnerability.

Another layer is to observe if there is any negative influence or “sha” in a certain direction. For instance, the southwest direction has a connection to the stomach area. If the southwest part of the house has some sort of negative influence (such as a crack in the foundation or in the wall) it could lead to health problems in the stomach area in one or more family members. We can sometimes predict the family member that will most likely suffer from a health problem.

Another layer is to consider the age of the home/structure. Health problems can also be associated with certain parts of the home. When someone prefers spending a lot of time in a certain area of the home, the local forces or influences will be more defined. Because most of us sleep and spend more time in our bedrooms, the sleeping area is the most important part of the home.

If, directly outside your home in the surrounding parts, there is some type of environmental sha, it can have a targeted Feng Shui association and cause a foreseen and common effect on health. For instance, some people believe that living near an electrical transformer that has strong and negative EMF raised on a utility pole can be harmful for a person living near that area. The direction of whatever potentially negative item is located just outside of a home can also result in a different layer of impact. Whatever negative thing or item is located at the southern part of your home can be considered carcinogenic or toxic. If the same thing or item is located at the northern part of your house, it can have a different impact on the occupant.

The term “modern Feng Shui hazards” is used to describe a number of negative influences for both exteriors and interiors that are uniquely modern circumstances, and not the things referred in thousand-year-old Chinese texts. The synthetic off-gassing substances that make up our furnishings and homes can severely impact our health as much as chemtrails and outdoor air pollution. The cereals, veggies, and other food products we buy in supermarkets and groceries are genetically modified, we drink unclean fluoridated water, and we are now besieged with electrical fields produced by our televisions, cell phones, and other electronic appliances. Some environmentally conscious people drive hybrid automobiles with the belief that they are contributing to a clean environment but what they don’t know that when they sit near the enormous electric battery for just a few hours a day, it could cause cancer and other modern day illnesses.

Can a property’s Feng Shui influences indicate a possibility for cancer? Yet, it can, and, once again, on various levels. While we are busy avoiding modern carcinogens, we also have to deal with geopathic stress that emanates from “natural” events as underground water and other subterranean disturbances that accumulate over time to subvert the health of a person. These disturbances have been known a long time ago by Chinese geomancers. In describing the flow of chi in the natural landscape, some Chinese used quite mysterious and cryptic terms like “dragon veins”.

The flying stars can also suggest a predisposition to specific maladies that could worsen into various form of cancer if left untreated. The flying stars symbolize the numeric designations for a magnetic field that’s generated when an edifice has been built. Without needing to physically see the edifice, we can use the space-time calculations that are performed in a traditional Feng Shui audit. For example, a house facing magnetic northeast at 45 degrees, will have an energy field in eastern portion that will worsen a health problem and even may help bring about cancer (The occupant should have been spending a lot of time in that part of the house).

Practitioners of Hsuan Kong Flying Star know about the definitions of the Five Yellow Star, which deals with the multiplying and dividing processes of the cells and is associated with pain. In the residences of people with cancer, their bedroom has a very big chance of being in a zone with the Five Yellow Star Chi. It can also be combined with the 2 star, which for decades has been connected to illness in general. In 2024, the energy of the 2 star will reverse its orientation and start to ascend as positive energy positive for health that will last six decades; for the past several decades the 2 star has been connected to illness and even death. These energies or “stars” all go through main cycles of negativity and positivity.

If we’re able to talk about whether negative Feng Shui can contribute to or cause cancer, we can then speculate whether positive Feng Shui can contribute to the remission or cure of cancer. When a person takes the necessary measures to kill cancer cells, we know this can happen. Pro-active dietary modifications as well as medical intervention are needed to make this a possibility. The Feng Shui of a person’s nearest environment would just be one more layer to deal with.

When proper adjustments to their living spaces are applied, the occupants experienced an improvement in the cancer status. But since cancer may be the result of not one but multiple influences like genetics which cannot be controlled, we are not 100 percent sure that adjusting our physical surroundings alone can really cure cancer.
